8th Grade Technology Education
This year your child will be covering topics of simple machines, forces and woodworking. In class students will learn and demonstrate correct and safe use of the drill press and band saw, create a whirligig and a CO2 car. This year there will also be a take home project, a Rube Goldberg machine, where a student/ pair of students creates a chain reaction of events that completes a simple task.
